Learn to Skate
Get started ice skating.
With a little determination, knowing the right techniques and a little practice, learning how to ice skate can be easy and a lot of fun. Whether your goal is to skate backward, spin really fast, score a goal or win a race, we have the know-how to help. Remember, just like you, every champion had to begin with a few easy lessons.

Cost per session is $95 which includes skate rentals if needed! All Participants must also register for Learn to Skate USA - under "Learn To Skate Laconia" here is the direct link - Registration | Learn to Skate USA®
LTS USA registration is good for the entire season, so you only need to do it once. We roster our classes from their database, so if you haven't registered but paid the $95 we will not have your child on a roster, this is very important to have this done before registration closes for your first session.
DAY:
Sunday's (except last 2 classes of Session 4) - there will be no makeup classes unless the rink is closed.
INSTRUCTION START TIMES:
4:00 and 4:25 PM - start times are dependent on the amount of participants. Your class start times will be emailed to you on the Friday before classes begin. The 25 minutes either before your lesson (4:25 PM class) or after (4:00 PM class) are for free skate, parents and siblings are invited and rentals are free if needed.

ChildrenIn today's fast-paced world, children juggle more tasks than ever. Learn to Skate USA® teaches your kids lessons to sharpen their focus and provide greater balance on and off the ice. As they conquer challenges on their paths to amazing, new worlds well beyond the world of skating will happen right before their eyes.
*Open to all children looking to skate, we do recommend skaters be 3 or older.
Adult
The adult curriculum is designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters who wish to improve their skating skills. Participation in the program will help promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while teaching proper skating techniques. This is an exciting program for people who look to skating as an enjoyable part of a fit and healthy lifestyle
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Skates, Helmet, Gloves (other protective equipment is optional)
No Sticks allowed
Each Session Includes:
- 25 minutes of structured learning with professional coaching and 25 minutes of free play/games per Week - Parents and siblings are encouraged to join the free skate, rentals available at no cost.

- Skating Skills & Development
- Fun-filled Drills to encourage the Child’s Love for skating.
