Zamboni driver/shift manager- Part-time
TRAINING NOW FOR NEXT SEASON
Position: Zamboni driver/shift manager
Pay: $TBD/hr.
Qualifications: No Zamboni experience required, will train. Must be a mature, energetic, responsible individual that is at least 18 years of age. Must be proficient in mechanical skills, people skills and ability to work independently. Must be trustworthy.
Duties: Zamboni operation, and machine maintenance. Ice making, and facilities upkeep. Familiarity with building operations and maintenance. Ability to perform moderately physical labor. Ability to safely operate ice machine, hand tools, and power equipment.
In addition, to perform daily cleaning tasks, according to daily maintenance schedule. To work in pro shop with customer sales and customer service including; sharpening skates, skate rentals, public skating ticket sales, etc. To perform nightly closing, or morning openings, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Hours: Part-time weekday evenings (closing) and weekend shifts available (opening/closing): This position requires a variety of shifts, including opening and/or closings. Refer to manager for specific schedule available.
Times: TBD Season: Late August - April
Depending on the needs of the Merrill Fay Arena, may be asked to work other hours, days or special holidays. Notes: Will train as needed.
